On the road to Disneyland
Dave poses with his brand-new Ford Five Hundred! It took us from Seattle to Los Angeles and back again in comfort and style.
Andersen's Pea Soup Inn in Santa Nella, CA
We had lunch here on the second day of our drive from Seattle to Disneyland.
When you're full of pea soup you do silly things!
Disneyland - Sleeping Beauty Castle
We made it!!! The castle was all decked out for the 50th Anniversary celebration.
Dave at the castle.

Even the lamp posts got special decorations for the 50th Anniversary.

Disneyland - Adventureland
Dave gets in touch with his primitive side. Ooga-Booga!
Disneyland - Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
I *love* this attraction! "Welcome to our tropical hideaway, you lucky people, you! If we weren't in the show starting right away, we'd be in the audience, too!"
It's a birdmobile! "Let's all sing like the birdies sing. Tweet, tweet-tweet, tweet-tweet."
"Tikis play the drums."
"Hear them do the chant."
"Farewell, and Aloha to you!"
Disneyland - Critter Country
A case full of delicious treats. Jon was truly in his Happy Place!

Disneyland - Fantasmic!
Hey Jeff, did Greg fall asleep while waiting for the show to start?!?
The Mark Twain appears in the finale. This is definitely one of the best shows in Disneyland's history! Too bad we were forced to sit behind that railing this time.
Steamboat Willie is at the helm on the top deck of the Mark Twain for the finale of the show.
Mmmm... toast! This shot is just for you, Joanne! :-)
Gee, Dave, Mickey looks a little wooden!
Greg poses in a photo-op near Autopia. He drives sports cars as well as he drives steamboats!
Disneyland - Space Mountain
Jon and Pat take a thrilling ride through space!
Here's a closer look at our on-ride photo. We're just so darn happy Space Mountain reopened after its extensive rehab. It rocks!!!
Is it heroic Buzz Lightyear?
Or is it the evil Emporer Zurg? That's the same reversible hat seen in the previous shot.
Greg being kinda Goofy!
Greg is one cool Mouseketeer!
Pat and Jeff get splashy!
Disneyland - Haunted Mansion
The singing busts in the graveyard scene.
Only in Disneyland! Those girls were just too darn cute in their Princess dresses.

The monorail glides over the submarine lagoon, which was under construction.

Jon goes solo in Space.
Once is not enough--again!!!
The marching band was playing a song on the deck of the Mark Twain. Wish I could have sailed around Tom Sawyer Island with them!
